The college advisory process is structured into several phases to ensure a comprehensive approach to selecting and applying to colleges. With over twenty years of dedicated experience in educational counseling, I am passionate about guiding students towards their career aspirations. Self-Assessment
The first phase focuses on self-reflection to determine which college aligns best with your academic, social, financial geographical and personal needs. Key questions include:
- What subjects am I passionate about?
- How far from home am I willing to study?
- Do I prefer an urban, suburban, or rural setting?
College Exploration
In the second phase, a list of suitable colleges is created for further research and application. Ongoing discussions will help identify the right institutions to investigate. This includes participating in college information workshops, fairs and programs offered by your high school.
Application Assistance
The third phase involves practical support for filling out applications, writing essays and preparing for interviews. I will provide feedback on your essays, help organize your approach to deadlines, and offer continuous assistance to ensure a smooth application process.
